The website http://abduzeedo.com/ is a great website with many tutorials on photoshopping images, clipping images together, and also illustrations.
one of the tutorials that caught my eye is the skate or die poster shown below.

Not only does the website show me step by step on how to make this image, it captures my interest in skateboarding, and also i have that matto SKATE OR DIE tattooed across my stomach.
even before the old school nintendo game, thats been a saying for years for the die hard skateboard fans.

I chose this photo from Pedro Meyer because in my perspective it shows the some highs and lows of society/economy, showing the add for caesars palace in las vegas and their luxury services they provided where people with disposable income can go visit, have fun and gamble etc. Then below the sign you see the struggle of field workers who are picking crops in the blazing sun, probably only making minimum wage or less and not complaining, just working.
I like Pedro Meyer's use of black and white in some of his photos because it seems like it helps focus more on the objective of the photo.

Atiba Jefferson

Atiba Jefferson is one of the most influential photographer in the skateboard industry, and he has been doing it for many years, and still at it to this day.

Atiba is well known for getting the best action shots in the game.

Not only does he shoot action shots for skating, he also shoots sports athletes, musicians, and actors as well.
Here you will see actor Jason Lee, who in fact use to be a pro skater in the late 80s early 90s before his big break in acting.
